Due to continued growth and expansion into new markets, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

 

This is a highly specialised role requiring a deep understanding of inspection, quality assurance, and engineering coordination for complex fabrication projects. The successful candidate will lead inspection activities, manage supplier performance, liaise with clients, and ensure strict adherence to technical specifications and international standards.

 

You will be working across multiple projects and disciplines, ensuring that subcontractors and suppliers deliver work to the highest quality. This role is critical to the success of our operations and contributes directly to the timely and compliant delivery of important contracts.

Key Responsibilities

 • Plan, manage, and coordinate engineering inspection and quality assurance activities for fabrication projects, ensuring all processes comply with project specifications, contractual obligations, and relevant industry standards.

 • Monitor subcontractor and supplier performance through on-site inspections, audits, and third-party surveillance, identifying quality issues and implementing corrective measures to maintain required standards.

 • Review, verify, and approve technical documentation including material certification, welding procedure qualifications, laboratory test reports, and final manufacturing record books.

 • Liaise with clients, suppliers, engineers, and inspection personnel to schedule inspections, conduct pre-production meetings, and provide regular progress and quality status reports.

 • Lead problem resolution and process improvement activities, applying engineering expertise to enhance quality control, reduce rework, and achieve timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Requirements

 • Degree-level qualification in engineering or a related discipline.

 • Extensive experience in inspection, quality control, and fabrication processes, ideally within the energy, petrochemical, or offshore sectors.

 • Strong knowledge of international standards and quality assurance frameworks.

 • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across international supply chains.

 • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
